In trying to realise our organisation's vision and mission of ensuring food security for present and future generations, we already strive to better the lives of thousands of people, and to preserve nature and ecological balance. However, this is not the end of our efforts towards making the world a better place.

Practising CSR at Camson

Saarthi is a Camson initiative that encourages the empowerment of the girl child, as we believe that a nation can move towards progress only when its women enjoy equality in all walks of life. We do our bit by ensuring that on the sale of every Camson product, ₹1 is donated towards meeting the costs of the education of children under this program

War seems to be a necessary evil, but its effects on the innocent surely need to be ameliorated. In accordance with this view, a further donation of ₹1is made on the sale of our products towards a fund which is used to better the lives of war widows.

Through many other small and large events and functions organised on days of national importance, Camson reaches out to the community and interacts with it. Always, we take to the masses our message regarding the need to conserve nature and save our planet.

FEED Program

Camson has put into place an innovative initiative christened as Farmer Education Enterprise Development (FEED) program. The initiative, designed to meet specific requirements of the farming community based on geographical / climatic peculiarities, uses SMS to reach out to render advice related to crops that interest the farmers and makes them aware of the lurking dangers of destructive disease and pest attacks. The farmers are also equipped with well-researched scientific information related to plant and soil nutrition thus enabling them to increase the quality and quantity of their yields.

The FEED team consists of highly qualified researchers that remain committed 24*7 to stay abreast of the latest in the field and compile critical information related to impact of climatic changes, moisture related issues, seasonal plant diseases, behavioural patterns of pests and issues timely advisories to the farmers to better prepare them to meet the challenges. Farmers are thus empowered to make sensible and well-informed decisions pertaining to nutrient requirements and preventative & curative measures to improve yield.

The program has reached out to touch the lives of thousands of farmers across the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. With the response it is generating; gradually its footprint is slated to cover all parts of the country and is firmly believed to be a revolution in the making.
